Who are the Ascended Masters?

SOME ASCENDED MASTERS of THE SPIRITUAL HIERARCHY

Buddha (Gautama Siddharta)
Gautama Siddharta, the Buddha, was born a prince in India or Nepal in 563 B.C. Leaving behind materialism, he became a seeker for the means to release humans from suffering and the ceaseless cycle of birth and death known as samsara. He practised austere deprivation for years until he realised that balance was the true way, the Way of the Middle Path, which Buddhism still teaches today. Buddha sat beneath the Bodhi tree, remaining there until he discovered how to free himself and all men from their struggles. This was Enlightenment.

Djwhal Khul (D.K.; The Tibetan Master; Master of Wisdom)
Djwhal Khul, also known as DK, the Tibetan Master, and Master of Wisdom, was once a pupil of Kuthumi (Pythagoras) and of Buddha. In the late 1800s, he assisted Kuthumi and El Morya to establish the Theosophical Society through Madame Blavatsky. Early last century, he channelled his famous esoterical teachings through Alice Bailey, and more recently through Janet McClure for the Tibetan Foundation. DK still works closely with Kuthumi and is taking on more of his work and students as KH prepares for a greater role.

Dominic (Dominic de Guzman; Santo Domingo de la Calzada; Master of Faith and Trust; Australian pilot in WWII; St.Dominic; Leonardo da Vinci)
Dominic de Guzman was the founder of the Dominican Order of Preachers in the 13th century and is the Master of Faith and Trust. Born into nobility in Spain, he gained a university education then, rejecting wealth, he travelled widely in southern Europe, preaching to and converting heretics. He was devoted to Mother Mary, urging the use of her rosary and performing many healing miracles through her. Dominic was also embodied as Santo Domingo de la Calzada, Leonardo da Vinci, and as an Australian pilot who died a hero in WWII.
